Actually, this visit was specially for this newly opened café, located in the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, which was renovated and reopened in March✨.
ENFUSE cafe: A Cross-Over Fusion of Art and Cuisine
This café shares its name with the Kyoto Kyocera Museum café brand, backed by Japan’s high-end dining group "Onkochishin" — known for blending traditional and modern designs. Their works include the Setouchi Aonagi hotel designed by Tadao Ando and the cave Michelin restaurant maison owl by Junya Ishigami.
The café makes use of the museum’s high ceilings, offering views of the Japanese garden "Keitakuen" through iron-framed windows🌿. The round table design creates an open atmosphere, like a small cultural salon. Even with crowds outside, it remains peaceful here, making it a perfect spot to avoid the hustle and bustle.
Must-Try Recommendations: Recreating the Flavors of the "Kitchen of the World"
• One plate set + Kansai white wine: Inspired by Osaka’s food culture, it gathers fresh ingredients from Kansai, perfectly balancing savory and sweet flavors!
• Dessert platter (luck-dependent): Said to blend the essence of Japanese and Western sweets. Unfortunately, it was sold out that day, but definitely a must-try next time!
