One of Japan’s most iconic landmarks, Osaka Castle (大阪城) blends samurai history with peaceful nature and city views. Whether you’re into history, architecture, or just great photo ops — this is a must-visit while in Osaka.
🏯 Quick History Snapshot
Originally built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a powerful feudal lord.
Destroyed and rebuilt multiple times (including WWII damage).
Today’s version is a faithful reconstruction with a modern museum inside.

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM)
Closed: Around New Year (check ahead)
Entrance Fee: ¥600 for adults (castle tower), ¥0 to walk the park and grounds.
