The last time I came to Osaka Castle was 15 years ago! This time, I took the opportunity of the Expo to quickly revisit the old site of Osaka Castle!

As soon as you enter, you will first see Toyokuni Shrine, which mainly worships Toyotomi Hideyoshi. You can visit it first.

Then, entering through the side gate of Osaka Castle, you can see the Time Capsule, which has been stored since the year 2000, with the goal of opening it 5,000 years later!

Looking up, you can see Osaka Castle. After climbing to the main tower, you can also buy a "Castle Stamp." Since I went up to the main tower, I definitely had to buy one! If you want to buy tickets, it’s recommended to purchase a QR code ticket on Trip.com now, so you don’t have to wait in line too long and can enter Osaka Castle quickly!

It’s worth mentioning that Osaka Castle is a castle with elevators. It’s recommended to take the elevator to the fifth floor and then continue walking up. First, check out the main tower and then slowly walk down. This way, you won’t get too tired!

From the main tower, you can see the scenery in all directions. The view is as good as Tsutenkaku Tower, and you can overlook the entire city of Osaka! The floors also introduce the war processes of the Summer and Winter Sieges of Osaka, allowing you to feel the glory of Osaka Castle back then.

I left from the north gate, where you can clearly see the moat and Osaka Castle from different angles! You will also pass by the Osaka Castle Plum Grove, which is worth a visit!

There is also an option for a park tour car. If you don’t want to get too tired, it’s recommended to take the tour car. There are now two types of cars to choose from. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time and could only experience one type!
