Highly affordable and clean Osaka hotel recommendation - worth bookmarking!

For my main stay during my 2025 birthday week, I booked in October last year at a non-refundable rate of 15,900 yen and am finally visiting. The Mitsui Garden chain is a Japanese hotel brand I have stayed at before in Tokyo, Chiba, Osaka (Kitahama closed), and Kumamoto.
This is the second hotel with the "Premier" designation after Ginza Premier. I chose the Superior Queen Room with club lounge access to deepen the birthday week experience. A free shuttle bus runs from Osaka Station every 20-30 minutes.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel and about 10 minutes back to Osaka Station. The nearest subway station, Higobashi Station, is about a 7-minute walk. Premier floors, starting from Superior rooms, are guaranteed to be on the 13th floor or higher.
I checked in around 6 PM. I had informed the hotel in advance that this was a birthday stay. At check-in, they handed me two delicious cookies as a birthday gift and warmly wished me a happy birthday.
I was assigned a room on the 13th floor. When I turned on the TV, a happy birthday message played along with celebratory music. The hotel is located on Nakano-shima, an island known as Osaka’s Yeouido.
The window view faces Tosabori River, a river view with the Conrad and APA Hotel standing tall on either side. The dynamic Osaka cityscape is visible with cars speeding along the Hanshin Expressway above.
The room features a modern layout with an open sink, bathroom, and toilet separated into three sections, reflecting current hotel trends and making the space feel larger than the room size suggests. Amenities include large Mikimoto products and sample stands, adding a touch of luxury.
The lounge is located on the top floor, the 16th floor, and is open until 1 AM. From 6 PM to 11 PM, there is unlimited alcohol service including wine, highballs, and draft beer. Light snacks and canapés are provided.
I joined the first session for 30 minutes starting at 6 PM. After an outside schedule until 10 PM, I returned to the hotel and spent about an hour at the second lounge session, leisurely reviewing the day’s experiences while writing a review.
Opposite the lounge is a large artificial hot spring bath. All guests can use it for free. Uniquely, even guests with tattoos are allowed, provided they tape them up like a broadcasting station; cover seals are provided at the front desk.
After a deep, restful sleep on comfortable bedding, I joined breakfast at 6:30 AM. The aroma of rich food filled the air from early morning. Breakfast is served Kyushu-style at the Kyushu restaurant, with over 10 types of tempura alone. Thank you.
