The Bailu Island International Ecotourism Area is the core area of ​​Yangzhou's Ecological Agriculture Development Zone. Its 2,750-acre organic agricultural area is a prime destination for sightseeing.

The Bailu Island International Ecotourism Zone is planned to cover approximately 10,000 mu (approximately 16,000 acres). The initial development phase will focus on the 3,500 mu (approximately 16,000 acres) former state-owned shipping forest and the 4,500 mu (approximately 16,000 acres) of Baoying Lake (including the island) along the forest.
