✨Step into Osaka’s Michelin 3-star "Taian," this kaiseki journey is like an ultimate feast of taste aesthetics, yet it also hides an experience that you both love and "hate"!
💬First, the reservation challenge: staff communicate entirely in Japanese, and their English is a bit "plastic," so it’s recommended to book in Japanese. It’s extremely hard to get through by phone during dining hours, so you have to try multiple times to succeed! We visited in February and booked 5 days in advance; luckily, there were still quite a few dining time options available. The restaurant is very unique, with only one 4-person table and the rest are counter seats, allowing you to closely experience the charm of the chefs~
💰The average cost is over 24,000 yen per person after tax. Although pricey, the flavors are truly exceptional! From appetizers to desserts, every dish is a masterpiece, made with premium ingredients, fully worthy of the Michelin 3-star title. The desserts are exquisitely crafted and eye-catching, and the silverfish rice is especially impressive. For the main course, you can choose from options like steak. The only regret is "not feeling full"—you do feel satisfied at the moment, but by evening you crave a late-night snack, a definite "sweet burden"!
📍The location is super convenient, near Shinsaibashi, in a quiet alley just a 10-minute walk away from the hustle and bustle. If you want to experience authentic high-end kaiseki cuisine, this place is definitely worth rushing to, but remember to book in advance!
