📍Bread, Espresso and Sakaisuji Club
Located in Minamisemba, the Sakaisuji Club was formerly the Kawasaki Bank built in Showa 6 (1931). The European-style stone building with a high vaulted ceiling immediately surrounds you with a sense of a hundred years of history. It retains the original vault door with a combination lock and thick stone walls. Sunlight streams through stained glass, making it feel like having breakfast in a museum!
Recommend arriving early to secure a spot! I waited 10 minutes after arriving around 8 AM. The serving speed is a bit slow but totally worth it. I ordered the signature croissant set; the outer layer is so crispy it flakes off, paired with rich coffee. Sitting by the old bank counter for breakfast adds a full sense of ceremony 💫 The price is higher than an ordinary café, but dining while admiring the vintage architecture instantly boosts the value!
Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast or a coffee lover, this place must be on your Osaka list. Take photos in front of the vault door, then enjoy a French-style brunch, instantly transporting you to the elegant Showa era! This place is truly stunning beyond words!
