[TripMoment] A city that feels better because it's familiar, 3 nights 4 days trip to Osaka

[TripMoment ✈️] A city that feels better because it's familiar, 3 nights 4 days trip to Osaka

It was my second visit, but Osaka still excites me.
The neon signs of Dotonbori, the thrill of USJ, the tranquility of Osaka Castle…
I’m recording a short but packed 3 nights 4 days.

📍 Day 1 | Dotonbori + Shinsaibashi

The first place I headed to right after arriving in Osaka was, of course, Dotonbori.
Walking along the river, before I knew it, my mouth was full of takoyaki and my hands were full of shopping bags!
A photo in front of the Glico sign is a must, and the sunset by the Dotonbori river in the evening was even more beautiful than in pictures.

🍜 Food recommendations: Crazy Takoyaki, Ichiran Ramen, Meat Sando
🛍️ Shopping spots: Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade – has everything from drugstores to Uniqlo and Muji
📸 Photo spots: In front of the Glico sign, Dotonbori river night view, Shinsaibashi arcade

📍 Day 2 | Osaka Castle + Floating Garden Observatory

Started the morning with a peaceful walk in Osaka Castle Park.
It wasn’t cherry blossom season, but the lush greenery around the castle was so beautiful, full of historic atmosphere.

In the afternoon, enjoyed the city view from the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory.
If you go up around sunset, you can take in the sparkling Osaka cityscape all at once.

🎫 Tip: Buy observatory tickets in advance on Trip.com to skip the lines
📸 Photo spots: Osaka Castle main gate, glass floor at the Floating Garden, Umeda night view

📍 Day 3 | Universal Studios Japan (USJ)

The highlight of this trip!
To enter Super Nintendo World, you must have both an admission ticket and a timed entry ticket.
The moment I rode Mario Kart myself, my inner child exploded 🎮
The Harry Potter village at night was the best atmosphere because of the lighting.

🎠 Pro tip: USJ is a stamina game! Book an Express Pass on Trip.com and enter early in the morning
📸 Photo spots: Mario entrance, in front of Hogwarts Castle, Minion World parade

📍 Day 4 | Tsuruhashi & to the airport

On the last day, I took a leisurely stroll through Tsuruhashi Koreatown.
When you miss Korean food, you can get tteokbokki, kimbap, and japchae here!
Souvenirs were much cheaper at Don Quijote than at the airport duty-free shops.

🎁 Shopping tip: Get Don Quijote tax-free plus extra discount coupons
📸 Photo spots: Tsuruhashi alley murals, kimchi shop in front of the station

🎒 Overall

Osaka is always familiar yet new, noisy yet cozy,
a city that’s great whether you go alone, with friends, or with family.

I boarded the plane leaving with a promise, “Next time, let’s definitely come back and include Kyoto.”
