📌 Trip Purpose and Overview
The theme of this Osaka trip is "Stay like living in a design hotel and fully enjoy food and the city that satisfy your sensibilities." The Basement Hotel Osaka Honmachi, chosen as the base, is a space like an art museum, with pastel pink and deep blue tiles lining from the basement lounge to the guest rooms. Details like the round sign in the elevator hall shown in the photo and the “sweet dream…” message on the card key are playful touches that keep the excitement high right after check-in.

• Acai bowl at ofu: Packed with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and red grapes, it’s an antioxidant boost from the morning. Honey and chia seeds add accents.
• Salad bowl at Semba café: Balanced flavors of hot spring egg, avocado, and the acidity of purple onion, with a sinful mini cutlet sandwich on the side.
• Snack set at the hotel basement lounge: Quality that surprises you for free. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth with Biscoff and marshmallows.

🏨 The Basement Hotel Osaka Honmachi Highlights

As shown in photos 3 and 4, the elevator hall is an otherworldly space created by the rhythm of soft tiles and indirect lighting. Even a friend standing with their back turned becomes a work of art.

The lounge named Basement 14.5 is open 24 hours. It offers freely readable art books, records, and free drinks, making it perfect for “hotel cocooning” even on rainy days.
3. Comfortable beds
The mattress is slightly firm, with a USB-C port at the bedside. The “sweet dream…” on the card key is no lie.
