Exploring Osaka Umeda Night Course~!

After enjoying afternoon tea in Honmachi, we moved to Umeda to visit Jazaba on the 11th floor of the newly opened Canopy hotel in Umegita, Osaka’s new commercial and cultural complex. The lounge and bar atmosphere is a very glamorous lifestyle.

Among the menu items, the monaka paired with champagne, which reflects a Japanese style without being excessive, caught my eye. It was impossible to resist the visual of the monaka generously filled with strawberries in season. The set includes one monaka and one glass of champagne.

We were seated by the window overlooking the Umeda high-rise skyline and Umegita Park. Having just enjoyed a full-course French afternoon tea in Honmachi 30 minutes earlier, we focused solely on the champagne and monaka without ordering additional items.

The champagne is a rosé with a pink hue, served as Moët & Chandon Rosé. The monaka is about the size of a Whopper Junior burger, topped with two types of strawberries, harmoniously paired with two kinds of strawberry and raspberry ice cream.

Hilton properties tend to have many Western guests, and here too, both at the tables and the counter seats, tourists from all over the world seemed to be having a lively time. I also enjoyed a glass of champagne with the night view and music as my accompaniment.

From the next day, a special exhibition by Tadao Ando will be held in the park area in front of the hotel. The already opened VS Museum is also thriving. There is a café attached, which stays open late. Since I hadn’t allocated time, I only took a look inside and outside. Thank you.
