Tsutenkaku Tower
🎏 is a landmark tower of Osaka located in the Shinsekai district. Construction began in 1912, inspired by the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. At that time, it was 64 meters tall before being destroyed by fire in 1943 and rebuilt in 1956 at 103 meters tall by architect Tachu Naito, who also designed Tokyo Tower.
🗼 On the 5th floor is the Golden Observatory, offering panoramic views of Osaka city, and there is a statue of Billiken (the god of good luck). It is believed that whoever rubs Billiken’s feet will have good luck. There is also a giant slide over 60 meters long from the 3rd floor down to the basement, which is fun and exciting, with an additional fee (1000 yen).
