Revisiting Universal Studios Japan After Many Years

After many years, I revisited Universal Studios Japan. I had been there about 20 years ago, but that time I joined a tour group and didn’t prepare much, just played around casually. This time, I came fully prepared. I downloaded the USJ app in advance to check maps and show times, and I also purchased a Fast Pass. The 7-attraction Fast Pass was quite expensive, costing $1185 per person, and the admission ticket was $863. So, the total expense for the day was $2000. I did hesitate before paying, but considering my age and the fact that I don’t have kids, this might be my last visit, so I decided to splurge and enjoy it to the fullest. Here’s my itinerary to share with everyone:

- Entered the Harry Potter Wizarding World 🪄
- 12:00-12:30: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
- 12:30-13:00: Flight of the Hippogriff
- Bought Butterbeer 🍺
- Entered Super Nintendo World
- 13:50-14:20: Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- 14:20-14:50: Yoshi’s Adventure
- 14:50: Donkey Kong’s Crazy Minecart
- WaterWorld
- JAWS
- Entered Minions Park
- Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem
- Strolled around Universal Wonderland

I hope this itinerary helps you plan your visit. After a full day of fun, I felt that the Fast Pass was worth it. Attractions that would normally require a 2-3 hour wait became instant access, making me feel like a VIP.
