At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, Taiwan, as a non-member of the BIE, cannot participate as a country. Instead, a pavilion by a private company serves as the de facto Taiwan Pavilion. As a side event, the We TAIWAN event has started in Osaka city (Umeda and Nakanoshima)!
