Osaka Trip: Review of Umeda Sky Building

If you’ve purchased the Osaka Amazing Pass, one spot you absolutely must visit is the Umeda Sky Building. True to the reputation of Japanese architecture, the building itself is like a piece of art, catching your eye even from a distance. 🏙️ While it’s a bit of a walk from Umeda Station, making you wonder, "Are we there yet?", the moment you arrive, the grand exterior instantly wipes away any fatigue.

Once you reach the rooftop observatory, you’re treated to a breathtaking view of Osaka city, giving you a liberating sense of openness. Visiting around sunset is especially magical, as you can enjoy both the night view and the twilight glow. 🌇 One amusing feature is the area where couples can attach locks, reminiscent of Seoul’s Namsan Tower. It was unexpected but charming to see couples lovingly securing their locks, which brought a smile to my face. 😆

Although the walk might be a bit tiring, I genuinely think this is a landmark you shouldn’t miss when visiting Osaka. From the overwhelming presence of the building itself to the stunning night view from the rooftop, it’s a place that left me completely satisfied.
