[Osaka Kansai Expo] The Swiss Pavilion is crowded, but you can line up without a reservation

With less than a month until the end of the Osaka-Kansai Expo,
it's been packed with over 200,000 people every day.
While there will be wait times, here are some popular pavilions you can get into if you queue.

Pavilion Name: Swiss Pavilion
Area: Empowering Zone
Time Required: Approximately 20-40 minutes
Estimated Wait Time: 30-180 minutes

This pavilion has been one of the most popular since the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. It's also known as the setting for the animated film "Heidi, Girl of the Alps."
Experience Alpine culture and cutting-edge technology. The attached Heidi Cafe is also very popular.

While you'll have to wait in line, there's still a chance to get in, as it's not a lottery system.

With so many pavilions surrounding the Swiss Pavilion, long lines are not possible.
For this reason, lines are stopped several times a day to adjust. Please queue when restrictions are lifted.

Right after entering, many people will be heading to the Italian Pavilion at the West Gate and the American Pavilion at the East Gate, so you have a chance to enter without waiting! Considering how busy it will be from now on, you'll be lucky if you can get in within about an hour!

It's extremely crowded during the day, and the lines at the pavilions are the longest. In the evening, when the night show and fireworks are on, everyone will be heading there, so the lines may be a little shorter!
It's important to time your arrival carefully, as registration will close if you arrive too late.
If you want to enjoy both the Heidi Cafe and the Swiss Pavilion, be prepared to wait in line while watching the fireworks!

The lines for the Heidi Cafe and the Swiss Pavilion are different, so please be careful when lining up.
Enjoy the short time left of the Osaka-Kansai Expo!

Dates: April 13–October 13, 2025
Access:
East Gate: Right next to Yumeshima Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line
West Gate: Bus or taxi from various locations
