Come visit Osaka's Kuromon Fish Market, or Kuromon Market, but Thais prefer to call it the Osaka Fish Market.
This market is home to a wide variety of food and souvenirs. You can choose from a wide variety of dishes, from savory to sweet. It's absolutely amazing! For those who love raw fish, you can pick it up fresh or packaged in boxes or trays. Pick up your favorite, pay, and eat it. There's also fruit, including large, juicy strawberries at reasonable prices, both packaged and chocolate-covered. It's delicious! There are several alleys to explore, so we recommend exploring them all.
It gets especially crowded around noon. Some shops only accept cash, while others accept cards. They even calculate the price for you, letting you choose your payment method. We recommend asking first.
Opening hours are 9:00 AM, but only a few shops. If everything is open, it should be around 11:00 AM. We originally planned to go get something to eat early, but we arrived around 9:00 AM, as most of the shops weren't open yet. We had to go elsewhere before returning.
