[Osaka] How to spend the Osaka Kansai Expo without lining up

We're sharing information about outings in Hyogo! 🌿

Only two weeks left until the final day of the Expo! 😭

Right now, it's so crowded everywhere that it's hard to even walk straight through the venue. 😱

If you're heading to the Expo now,
① Visiting two pavilions is enough!

② Decide what foods you want to eat (restaurants are tricky).

③ Enjoy the shows and events.

If you have too many expectations, you're likely to be disappointed when you leave, so

It's best to go with the mindset of "I'll be very satisfied if I can accomplish two things I want to do." 💦

Around noon, all pavilions will have entry restrictions...
You'll be lucky if you can find an opening when restrictions are lifted, so don't worry about the wait time and just get in line. 🥺
The wait is usually shorter than the actual time. ✨
In Korea, we waited two hours, but we actually got in after 40 minutes. 🥰
*There are exceptions (9/27, we waited two hours in the US, but it turned out to be a two-and-a-half-hour wait. 💦)

Make sure you bring a folding chair!

There were a lot of people stranded under the big roof ring. 💦
I even saw people taking naps on picnic sheets. 😇

In the UAE, there are two lines for food!
The right side is takeout, and the left is eat-in, so be careful not to get confused. 😌

The thing we messed up the most was the ordering process. ⚠️
For individual food items, you have to pick them up from the display case and take them to the register. On the other hand, bento boxes have to be ordered at the register, so it's hard to know how to order if you're a first-timer. 💦
I wanted a bento, but the sign said, "Please pick it up and take it to the register!", so I followed the instructions. 😣

Also, apparently, if you order food and drinks at the same time, the order for the drinks is delayed. 😱
People who only order drinks can pay and receive their orders quickly, but because I ordered a drink with my food, I waited almost 20 minutes. 😅
If you're going as a group of two, it might be easier to split into two groups: one to handle food and one to handle drinks. 🤔! ?
