Red bean mochi soup, a traditional sweet shop in the heart of Dotonbori!

📌 Located in Hozenji Alley, don't worry about finding it! It's right in front of Hozenji Temple. After praying, head into the shop for some delicious desserts.

🍧 The shop doesn't have a huge menu, but they have 3-4 options: hot and cold red bean soup, red bean shaved ice, and matcha. 🍵

The soup bowls are red bean soup with mochi, and one with chestnuts. The prices are slightly different: 820 yen and 920 yen. 😃

🍧 Each set of red bean soup comes with two bowls, everyone! I thought it was one bowl, so I ordered two, and ended up with four bowls. So filling! ^^ The set also includes dried kombu seaweed, which is extremely salty (but delicious) and not too sweet. 🍃

🩷 Oh, and I've heard that eating this dessert will bring good luck in love and relationships. ^^

🍽 The shop doesn't look very old, and there are always people coming in and out, and there's a signboard full of them. Not sure if it's a celebrity who's eating here.
