The plum grove at Osaka Castle was almost in full bloom.

Sunday, February 26th. On the day of the Osaka Marathon, we went to see the plum grove at Osaka Castle.

The area was crowded with people returning from the marathon and people looking for the plum grove.

The plum blossoms were almost in full bloom on all branches, and we enjoyed the red, white, pink and other colorful plum blossoms.

When I went there before the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a shop in the plum grove that sold oden, udon, amazake, etc., but now it has been replaced by a Lawson.

Perhaps because of its location, Lawson sells cans of oden, amazake, and oshiruko, and there were many Osaka souvenirs such as sweets and pickled plums lined up.

It was extremely cold, so we warmed ourselves up with oden, amazake, and oshiruko, and walked around the plum grove one more time before heading home.
