If you don’t eat at Otaru Sanjiao Market, your trip to Hokkaido is a waste! Must-try white fish star anise

The Triangle Market in Otaru is not very big, but you must come and eat there! Otaru is not only a tourist attraction in Hokkaido, but also the earliest developed port in Hokkaido's history. The catch here is very fresh and a little cheaper than in the city. It is definitely not to be missed.

Sashimi restaurants are the main battlefield here. This time we chose Takeda Fresh Fish Store. The store is quite large and we only waited in line for 30 minutes. After getting the ticket and waiting in line, you can leave the store, walk around and come back, which is very convenient.

The flavor of the fresh toro and sea urchin here is truly unparalleled, and you won’t be able to find such a sweet taste anywhere else. Then we tried the white fish called star anise. Although it didn’t look good, it had a very bouncy texture and a refreshing taste. It was also very cheap, with a whole fish costing only around 1,200 yen. I highly recommend it!
