In Otaru, a Letter to Time Between Mountains and Sea

Otaru is a city where you can breathe slowly.

The morning sea breeze blows in from the harbor, rippling the reflections on the canal and awakening the sweet aroma of desserts at the street corners. Walking along Sakaimachi Street, every window and every lamp feels like a memory quietly glowing in the passage of time.

Behind me are green mountains, in front of me is the deep blue sea, and around me are old streets steeped in history and exquisite glass craftsmanship. In this city embraced by mountains and sea, I find a rare sense of tranquility and purity in the everyday.

Here, there is no clamorous hustle and bustle, only the gentle beauty of fleeting moments and scenes. It feels like writing a letter to time, where every word and every step carries a slow yet genuine sense of emotion.
