Recommended Day Trip Course to Otaru Near Sapporo

A must-visit place when traveling to Sapporo is Otaru❄️
It's not far from Sapporo Station, making it perfect for a day trip!

Otaru is about 1 hour and 10 minutes from New Chitose Airport
and about 40 minutes from Sapporo Station.
If you have purchased the Sapporo JR Pass,
you can use it to travel to Otaru!

I got off at Minami-Otaru Station
and first headed to the Music Box Museum!

The Otaru Music Box Museum, built in 1915,
is a beautiful place with thousands of music boxes
and an antique atmosphere😳

The Otaru Canal is 1,140 meters long and 20-40 meters wide,
and it's a must-visit spot during your Otaru trip!
When I visited, the Otaru Snow Light Path Festival was taking place,
illuminating the beautiful night streets!
