I went on a solo trip to Hokkaido!

It was my first trip to Hokkaido in seven years, and I was really looking forward to it! I spent the first half of the trip sightseeing in the Otaru area, and the second half mainly exploring Sapporo!

Here's the hotel I stayed at in Otaru:

This hotel was absolutely amazing! ✨OMO5 Otaru, which opened in January 2022, blends seamlessly into the Otaru cityscape. It's a renovated version of the former Otaru Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a historic building designated by the city!
There are plenty of activities to choose from, so be sure to check them out! (I tried the Otaru Canal Cruise!)
Otaru had more walkable spots than I expected, and I enjoyed the food and shopping!

At night, I headed towards Susukino and finally got to try some solo Genghis Khan!
I was impressed that they had a menu for solo travelers! I highly recommend it!

In Sapporo, I walked around the park, did some morning activities, and went to New Chitose Airport a little early to buy lots of souvenirs! I also wanted to try some soft serve ice cream... See you next time!
