[Sankaku Market]

This super-famous market is located just to the left after exiting Otaru Station, just down the hill. ⭐️
It's a staple spot that almost every tourist visits.
The market is packed with fresh seafood. 🦀
The lively calls of the barkers lure you in, and the aroma of seafood bowls and grilled fish wafts through the air.
However, prices are a little on the higher side, so it's a good idea to carefully consider your choices.💡
Popular restaurants often have long lines from early in the morning, so it's best to visit with plenty of time.🥢

[Central Market] (Chuo Ichiba)

There are few tourists, and most of the customers are locals.
This market truly has the atmosphere of a "local kitchen."
Divided into several buildings, it's filled with fish, fruit, pickles, and other home-use ingredients.🍎🐙
The market also houses an art space called "Gangan Gallery," which is used as a venue for local artists to exhibit and present their work.🎨A unique system allows anyone to hold a free exhibition by signing up to the cooperative. This is a place where the market and art naturally intertwine, giving you a feel for the warm local culture.

A homey market with friendly prices, frequented by locals for everyday use⭐️
The appeal is the fresh seafood, reasonably priced, and not at tourist prices♪
There are two restaurants within the market where you can enjoy seafood bowls, both of which are fresh and filling!
While it used to be exclusively frequented by locals, word of mouth has recently spread, attracting a few international tourists.
You can also send crab and kelp, and they also sell ready-to-eat side dishes. ☺️
