Guangdong Chaozhou (Filial Piety Version)｜2 Days 1 Night Eating and Drinking Itinerary.

Since we arrived at Chaoshan Station at 2:30 PM, we started our first itinerary around 4 PM after checking in at the homestay.

Day 1
Stroll around Chaozhou Ancient City ➠ Paifang Street ➠ Guangji Tower ➠ Guangji Bridge (There is a light show at 8:00 PM, but it was a bit disappointing)

🍴Food: Xia Shuimen Lao Zheng Oyster Omelette, Chao San Yi Snacks, Ancient City Old House Beef Hotpot (Highly recommended!!)

Day 2

Chaozhou West Lake ➠ Xima Road ➠ Silver Street ➠ Kaiyuan Temple
🍴Food: Guanchao Tower (Morning Tea), Fresh Feast Chaozhou Private Cuisine (Highly recommended!!)

There are many local snacks along Xima Road, and you can buy souvenirs, most of which offer free samples! The elders will not return empty-handed.

Brief explanation of transportation
It takes about 2.5 hours (direct) from Hong Kong West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station to Chaoshan Station, and about 40 minutes by ride-hailing from the station to the city! It is recommended to use a mobile phone to book a ride, and do not easily take black cars that solicit passengers on the road.
