🏕️ Have you ever been like me? As soon as the New Year comes, you have to start making merit to make yourself calm, cool, comfortable, and to bring good fortune to yourself. So I looked for a place that, besides cooling your mind, is there anywhere that is also cooling your body and not far from Bangkok? Then I realized why I don't go to a temple of the practice lineage and stay in a cold place, but going up North is too much. So I looked around Korat and found a temple with a strange name, which is Wat Pa Phu Hai Long.
☘️ Wat Pa Phu Hai Long is one of the places I intended to visit to bring good fortune during the upcoming New Year and also took the opportunity to travel to Khao Yai in many ways. So I studied further and found that Wat Pa Phu Hai Long is a temple of the Luang Pu Man Phurithatto lineage. The journey up to this temple is quite arduous because the temple is located on a very high and steep mountaintop. If you are not skilled at driving or your car is old, you should park your car and walk up the Naga stairs for safety.
🍹 In addition to the temple being located on a high mountain, when I arrived, there weren't many people there because it is a forest temple. So there were very few people. Make the temple look quiet. When we arrived at the first point, we came to worship and ask for blessings before walking up.
🤟 After walking up to the top, there is a beautiful chapel with architecture. There is a principal Buddha image inside. Outside, there are various Buddha images surrounding the chapel. In addition, you can see a 360-degree view from the top. I feel that it is very worthwhile to come.
💙 Which is considered a 360-degree view is another highlight that everyone must come up to. I must say that it is hard to find. I went up during the rainy season, so there was a strong wind. It was cool and refreshing. And it was as I intended. Because the beauty made me walk and see the whole area. Really cool and comfortable.
⭐ The temple is very high and steep. It may make some people hesitate and change their minds because they are afraid of heights. But once you go up, you will know what a pity it would be if you didn't go up. So if you come, I recommend it. Go up. It's really beautiful.
🎄 The recommended time to come is in the late rainy season, early winter. (Many people recommend coming here to watch the sunrise) around 5:30 AM
because you will find a wide view surrounded by fog. And of course, I didn't come during that time. I didn't see any fog. 5555
However, this temple still has a beautiful view of the mountains to see all the time. If you come, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
📍 Address: Village 11, Ban Sap Samran, Wang Katha Subdistrict
📌 Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
🚘 There is a parking lot for many cars right at the entrance to the temple.
📸 There are many photo spots and a 360-degree view.
⏰ Open for worship: 5:30 AM - 5:00 PM
** Wat Pa Phu Hai Long means the land of freedom from all delusion.
