I spent a day at Pamukkale in Turkey, and it was one of the most unique and memorable experiences of my summer vacation! The entrance fee was about 200 Turkish Lira (€7), and it was absolutely worth it. The first thing that caught my eye was the stunning white travertine terraces, which look like something out of a dream. Walking barefoot on the terraces and dipping my feet into the warm, mineral-rich waters was incredibly relaxing.

After exploring the terraces, I visited the ancient city of Hierapolis, which is located just above Pamukkale. The ruins, especially the amphitheater, were fascinating and added a historic touch to the day. The view from the top of the terraces over the surrounding countryside was breathtaking.
