A sea of white

Denizli is the capital of Denizli Province in southwestern Türkiye, located in an agricultural area at the foot of Mount Gokbel. Denizli is an important industrial city with wool, cotton, and linen textile mills, and textiles are especially cheap here. Denizli is famous for its domestic roosters, and the city is full of rooster statues and signs, attracting many tourists to take photos.

💰Tickets: EUR 30: Hierapolis + Pamukkale; EUR 40: plus Laodicea.

🚗Transportation: Drive to the scenic area, about 20 km from the city bus station, about 30 minutes, stop at the south gate.

⭐️Pamukkale: 1️⃣ To protect the environment, you need to walk barefoot. Some people say you can wear socks, but I didn't see anyone doing that; 2️⃣ Some parts of the ground are uneven, and some places with water flow are particularly slippery. I saw several people slip, so I suggest you walk slowly, enjoy the scenery, and take photos; 3️⃣ No retouching or filters, it's time to test your photography skills; 4️⃣ I suggest you bring wet wipes to wipe your feet before putting on your shoes.

⭐️Hierapolis: 1️⃣ After entering, the first thing you see is the ruins of Hierapolis, which cover a large area, with churches, theaters, and town remains. There is also a museum with artifacts excavated from nearby; 2️⃣ The ruins are not on flat ground, there are small hills, so I suggest you wear comfortable shoes.

These two attractions take about 5 hours to visit. There are benches under the trees where you can rest, enjoy the view of the city and the mountains in the distance, and feel the cool breeze.
