Purchase a Museum Pass and Batobus to explore Paris over two days.
Day 1: Start your morning early before the museums open by heading to Montmartre Hill, where Sacré-Cœur Basilica is located, to get a panoramic view of Paris. At 9 AM, visit the Musée de l'Orangerie. Be sure to arrive early, as Monet's Water Lilies can be difficult to fully appreciate when the museum is crowded. Next, take the Batobus to the Palais de Chaillot for a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Walk to the Pont d'Iéna for another perspective. If you're a Monet fan, the Musée Marmottan Monet is highly recommended. Other great options include the Panthéon and the Musée de Cluny. On Thursdays, the Musée d'Orsay stays open late.
Day 2: Begin your day with a stroll around Île Saint-Louis, then visit Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame Cathedral starting at 9 AM. In the afternoon, explore the Opéra Garnier and either the Gustave Moreau Museum, the Picasso Museum, or the Centre Pompidou. The Louvre Museum stays open late on Wednesdays and Fridays.
