After living in Paris for several years, Montmartre remains my all-time favorite spot—no contest. From the platform in front of Sacré-Cœur, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of Paris that instantly calms your soul. It’s one of the few places where you can see the city’s full skyline, especially at dusk, when the sky and city lights blend beautifully—a truly profound kind of beauty.
Montmartre was once the creative hub for 19th-century artists—Picasso, Van Gogh, Renoir all spent time here. Walking the cobblestone streets, you can almost feel the inspiration floating in the air. The streets are lined with unique shops, small galleries, and cozy cafés—each one hiding its own story. Pop into any spot for a postcard or a coffee and soak up the laid-back vibe.
The sound of violinists playing and the aroma of delicious food mingle in the air, making the sunlight feel even softer. Romance here takes on a tangible form. Just be mindful of your safety—it’s Paris, after all, a city that’s both romantic and a little bit sharp.
Montmartre is absolutely worth a visit! 🌿🎻☕️
