Notre Dame Cathedral stands tall on the Ile de la Cité, an island in the middle of the Seine.

Known as a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the beauty of the stained glass and sculptures took my breath away✨

Even as restoration work after the fire progresses, its presence and holiness remain unchanged, and I was able to spend a soul-cleansing time there🙏

Access is about a 5-minute walk from the Cité station on subway line 4.

Currently, internal tours are restricted, but the exterior alone is enough to impress.

I also recommend a walk along the Seine in the surrounding area🚶♀️
The key to success is to visit in the quiet hours of the morning🌅
There are few tourists, so you can take your time taking photos and enjoying the architectural details📸
The nearby bookstore, Shakespeare and Company, is also a great spot for literature lovers📚
