Our visit to the legendary Shakespeare and Company in Paris was everything we hoped for-and a little more. The line to enter this famous English-language bookstore was long, filled with eager book lovers from all over the world.
Since the queue was too long to wait, we decided to soak in the Parisian atmosphere at their cozy café next door. The cakes were delightful, the coffee warm and comforting - the perfect teatime treat.
The service was just average, but the calm, literary vibe around the café made up for it. Though we didn’t get to explore the bookstore itself this time, this little pause reminded us that sometimes the best travel moments come from unexpected places.
Shakespeare and Company is truly not just a bookstore - it’s a slice of Parisian magic. We’ll be back to explore inside for sure!
