The Isolated Pockets of the Orangery Side (3 Stars)
While the main axes are grand, the small, sequestered corners near the Musée de l'Orangerie provide excellent spots for a quiet fright. The areas are dense with taller, thicker trees, creating pockets of near-absolute darkness where the Parisian light pollution cannot reach. The park benches here are wet and cold, and the sound of the wind whipping through the high branches mimics a high-pitched, mournful cry. It's a place where you genuinely feel detached from the bustling life of Paris, despite being in the very heart of the city—perfect for a moment of quiet, existential dread on a spooky night.
