🏡 Wat Pa Khlong 11 was established in 1988 when a group of individuals wished to set up a meditation center. Later, they invited Phra Chokchai Issaratecho, who was residing at Wat Phaeng Ma in Wang Nam Khiao Subdistrict, to survey the land. With donations from devoted followers, construction began, including building the entrance road, digging large ponds, creating boundary ponds for the monks, and constructing monk residences. The project was completed in 1999.
🐉 It is believed that this temple is protected by Naga serpents, similar to Wat Pa Kham Chanod in Udon Thani Province. This belief attracts locals and tourists who come to pay respects and make wishes.
Key attractions within the temple include:
🏠 The wooden ordination hall situated in the middle of a pond, housing the principal Buddha image, Luang Phor Nak Prok Kaew Mani Chot.
🐉 Statues of Pu Sri Sutho and Ya Sri Pathumma, along with large Naga sculptures encircling the ordination hall. At the four corners of the pond, there are Naga statues with 3, 5, and 7 heads.
🌳 The temple grounds are filled with large trees, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It is also a place for meditation and spiritual practice.
