The world's most magnificent wood carving temple museum "The Sanctuary of Truth" 🪵 A must-see attraction in Pattaya!

The Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is known as the world's largest woodcarving temple museum. Construction began in 1981 and is still ongoing after more than 40 years. The biggest feature of the Sanctuary of Truth is that it is built with pure handmade teak carvings. The entire building does not have any nails, and the wood is connected using traditional Thai mortise and tenon technology. The entire temple museum looks really spectacular!

The ticket includes a guided tour itinerary, which is available in English, Chinese, Russian, Korean, etc. The English guided tour has the most time slots, and there are also many Chinese guided tours so you won’t have to wait too long! At the beginning, the tour guide will take you to visit the woodcarver's work area and appreciate the model being carved. Then the interior is mainly divided into 5 halls: east, west, south, north and center. The sculpture art with themes such as heaven, hell, religion, and reincarnation is really very delicate and exquisite. This is not just a temple museum, but also perfectly shows Thailand's exquisite wood carving craftsmanship👍

There are many temples in Thailand, but the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is different from other temples. It is built entirely of wood, which is really shocking and amazing. I sincerely recommend that everyone who goes to Pattaya to arrange half a day to visit the Sanctuary of Truth!

⚠️Little reminder! Remember not to wear vests, shorts, short skirts, etc. when you go to the Sanctuary of Truth, as these are not allowed inside! It doesn’t matter if you don’t wear the right clothes, you can just borrow a salon apron and it will be fine!
