Penghu is a place you must visit once in your lifetime!

Take the bus near Chiayi Railway Station every morning to Chiayi's Budai Pier, and then take a boat for less than two hours (you can buy it on site, but it is recommended to buy tickets online during the peak season) to Penghu Magong Pier.

At 3 pm, board the boat at the Nanhai Visitor Center and go out to the sea to the Sea Palace to eat unlimited grilled oysters and experience sea fishing.

At 8 pm, board the boat at the same place to watch the fireworks (the Fireworks Festival will be until July, but I remember it is not every day. The taxi driver suggested that it would be more shocking to watch the concert on the shore).
