Located in Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing, it is a scenic area themed around the culture of Chiyou, the ancestor of the Miao people.

The scenic area features traditional Miao architecture and is vast in scale, including the largest Miao architectural complex in China, unique stilted buildings, and the Nine Gates, Jiuli Palace, and Jiuli Divine Pillar, all listed in the Guinness World Records.

Visitors can admire Miao architecture, watch ethnic performances, and experience Miao cuisine and culture.

Chiyou Jiuli City is a 4A-level scenic area that combines Miao history and culture with natural scenery. The park covers a vast area, with Miao-style buildings built against the mountainside, including stilted buildings, the Jiuli Divine Palace, the Jiuli Divine Pillar, and the Chiyou Grand Hall, showcasing a history and culture different from that of the Han Chinese.
