Hong Kong-Style Dining in Malaysia

During my Malaysia trip, I had lunch at Loong Cafe located in 1 Utama Mall. This place is a Hong Kong-style cafe that delivers an authentic taste of Hong Kong with a hint of Malaysian flair.

The first thing that caught my eye was the iconic red Hong Kong taxi displayed right at the entrance—such a unique and eye-catching feature! The cafe’s interior also had a nostalgic vibe, with vintage decor and elements that reminded me of classic Hong Kong streets.

Their signature dishes include roasted duck, chicken, char siew, and siew yoke. I decided to try the roasted duck rice, which was flavorful with tender meat, and the siew yoke with fried rice. The crispy siew yoke paired perfectly with the aromatic fried rice. It felt like a delightful fusion of Hong Kong flavors and local Malaysian touches.
