Starting the New Year with a gathering at Tansen Izakaya located at Damansara felt like the perfect way to kick off 2025. The cozy Japanese vibes of the restaurant created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and celebrate with friends.

I ordered the Oyakodon, a comforting dish of tender chicken and soft eggs layered over steamed rice. Each bite was flavorful and hearty, with the simple ingredients coming together beautifully. The miso soup served alongside added a touch of warmth, making it a satisfying meal.

The decor of Tansen Izakaya added to the experience, with its traditional Japanese style and vibrant wall art. Every corner of the restaurant seemed to transport us to a lively izakaya in Japan.
