Petra Wonders✨

Just got back from an epic journey to Petra — seriously, this spot is a bucket-list stunner with ancient vibes and unreal scenery 🌵✨ The city’s “rose-red” stone and dramatic desert backdrop totally live up to the hype!

Top Spots to Visit in Petra:
- The Treasury (Al-Khazneh): The legendary facade you’ve seen everywhere. Go super early for crowd-free photos! ⏰ Opens 6am, closes 6pm.
- The Siq: A narrow, winding gorge that builds up anticipation as you approach The Treasury. Don’t rush this walk — hidden carvings everywhere!
- Monastery (Ad Deir): After conquering the staircase (800+ steps, pack water!), catch breathtaking panoramic views. Totally worth the climb.
- Street of Facades: Rows of tombs carved in cliff faces — a great spot for soaking up Petra’s magic minus the crowds.
- Royal Tombs: Jaw-dropping Western architecture influences & the best spot for sunset pics.

Personal tip: Sunscreen is a must, and bring a wide-brim hat — the sun is intense, especially midday! If you want that Insta-worthy photo, time your visit for late afternoon when the rock glows.

Getting Around: Petra is walkable but BIG. Wear sturdy shoes! Local buses and cabs can get you to the visitor centre, but from there it’s all footwork.

Food Rec: For post-exploration fuel, try the Petra Guest House’s Cave Bar (just outside the main site) for both traditional Jordanian bites and international eats.

Visa & Money info: Entry visas are available on arrival for most travelers, and Jordanian Dinar (JOD) is the currency. ATMs at the site entrance.
