[Phan Thiet] Vietnam Railway and Seaside Walk

From Phan Thiet to Ho Chi Minh 🛤️

I love riding trains, so if I can, I'll definitely ride them 🚃

There was a train from Phan Thiet to Ho Chi Minh, so I decided to take the train to Ho Chi Minh on my way back. I bought some juice and snacks at the convenience store and got on.

The train was a cute, slightly old car with a lot of character. The road was rural, so the signal was sometimes working and sometimes not during the trip. The train sold mangoes 🥭, which was kind of Vietnamese and fun. It was perfect for a moment of lost time in thought.

Before the train, I took a walk along the seaside, went to a cafe and a market.

📍Cafe Bồng Bềnh

A cafe right next to the sea with a great view. There's a super stylish cafe at the end of a complicated residential area called ??? in a place like this. I thought to myself that this would never happen in Japan, but I enjoyed the stylish drinks, which were also surprisingly cheap. It was hot but comfortable at the cafe right next to the sea 😌

📍Thuong Chanh beach
The sea is beautiful. It's within walking distance from the cafe above.

📍Phan Thiet Market
A very local and deep market. There were live chickens so I was a little scared so I quickly ran through it...

There were a lot of colorful fishing boats floating in Phan Thiet and it was cute! I stayed there for about 3 hours but enjoyed it.
