REVIEW OF THE TRIP TO PHU QUY ISLAND (BINH THUAN) 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
• Transportation:
From Hanoi, I flew straight to Saigon,
- In Saigon, I took the Saigon - Phan Thiet bus at 11:30 pm.
The overnight bus took about 3 and a half hours to get there. Get on the bus and say you're going to Phu Quy, the staff will tell you which bus to transfer to the pier.
When you get to the pier, go straight to the Phu Quy Express office - (large boat, sleeper) to get tickets and have breakfast. At this time, you have to wait for the boat, so you should have breakfast nearby.
On the boat, I called the homestay owner to pick up the motorbike at the port.
Then I moved to the homestay.
Hotel: This is equivalent, the service is not yet developed, so the room just needs to be clean, price 2.5.0 k.a - 3.5.0 k.a, convenient so I chose to stay at Minh Hue - Homestay.
Ms. Hue's phone number: 0 3 9 6 8 9 4 8 8 6
Here, she allows you to freely use services such as kitchen and washing machine.
• WHERE TO GO, WHAT TO PLAY:
Sightseeing and check-in places on the island:
- Trieu Duong Bay
- Doc Phuot
- Chu Quyen Flagpole
- Bai Nho - Bai Da Phu Quy Island
- Ganh Hang
- Ho Vo Cuc - Ganh Hang
- Be Ca Lang Duong
- Mo Thay + fish pond behind
- Cao Cat Mountain at Linh Son Pagoda
- Phong Dien
- Bai Lang embankment
- Hon Tranh: usually all hotels and motels have connections, so just book where you stay.
• WHAT TO EAT? Dishes I ate in Phu Quy:
- Hot beef/ Beefsteak
- Seafood at Lang Be
- Some popular rice dishes, noodles, vermicelli are the same as on the mainland.
- Seafood on the island is also quite cheap, I bought some to cook at my homestay.
Phu Quy is a small island that has not been fully exploited, but that's why I find Phu Quy beautiful, rustic and simple, worth experiencing and coming back to this place!
Above is a short summary of my trip. Wish you a happy and meaningful trip! ♥️
