Krua Jae Nong Seafood - This small, family-run seafood restaurant is one of the best in Cha-am and Hua Hin. Located right on the beach, you can enjoy the sea breeze and stunning views. The food is delicious and flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh and generously sized. Most importantly, the prices are affordable. It's no wonder the restaurant is always full. We recommend making a reservation. For this meal, we ordered the following:

➡️ Tiger Prawns

Priced by weight. On the day we went, we had 5 prawns per kilo. They were plump and huge, some with juicy, delicious roe. You can choose to have them grilled or steamed with salt. Grilled takes a bit longer, but the aroma of the grilling is amazing. The prawns are fresh and firm, and the seafood sauce is incredibly spicy. I was absolutely delighted.

➡️ Grouper Tom Yum

The grouper fish is thick and cut into large pieces, filling the hot pot. The meat is bouncy and fresh, with no fishy smell at all. The tom yum flavor is sour, with a strong lemon aroma, followed by a spicy kick from fresh bird's eye chilies, with a hint of saltiness and not at all sweet. It's a clear tom yum soup that's exactly what I like. I love it!

➡️ Stir-fried Crab Meat with Fresh Chili

A plateful of crab meat stir-fried to a satisfyingly spicy level. It's tangy yet delicious. Paired with hot steamed rice, it's a perfect match. Absolutely delicious!
