This time i visited the famous Maya Bay in Phuket, Thailand. Maya Bay is one of the most famous beaches in Thailand. The beautiful beach is located on the island of Koh Phi Phi Leh near Koh Phi Phi Don.

Maya Bay is also called Maya Beach and owes its fame to the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio in the leading role. This film was partly shot in 1999 on the beautiful beach of Koh Phi Phi Leh.

The best time to visit the Maya Island, Thailand is between the months of November and April when it is the peak season, the seas are calm. But visitors are not allowed to swimming in this area.

The only way to reach Maya Bay is through Water. You can reach the Bay from Krabi as well as Phuket Airport, just take one of those long tail boats or speedboats from the Krabi Town to reach the place.
