Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat (Wat Yai)

Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, commonly known as "Wat Yai," "Wat Phra Buddha Chinnarat," or "Wat Luang Pho Yai," is a first-class royal temple, Woramahawihan type, located on Phuttha Bucha Road on the east bank of the Nan River, opposite Phitsanulok City Hall. It houses the Phra Buddha Chinnarat, the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand. The temple also houses the Phra Wihan Phra Chao Khao Nipphan and Phra Wihan Phra Attharot. This is a significant temple in Phitsanulok and a must-see when in Phitsanulok.
