The Delphi ruins are nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, and the setting itself is breathtaking. Once considered the center of the world, this sanctuary of Apollo was home to the famous Oracle. Walking up the Sacred Way, past treasuries and monuments, I could almost hear pilgrims seeking answers from the priestess. The Temple of Apollo, though in ruins, still holds a powerful aura. The theater and stadium above offer sweeping views of the valley below, filled with olive groves.
