Introducing Renfang Park

Ren Fang Park is located within Jiubin Park in Yicheng Town. Ren Fang served as an official during the Southern Dynasties of Song, Qi, and Liang. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang, he was Minister of the Imperial Court and later served as the prefect of Yixing. He was known for his integrity and was deeply loved by the people. In his spare time, he would fish and enjoy the scenery of the streams and mountains. Later generations built a platform in his memory, which is called "Ren Gong Fishing Platform."

During the Southern Dynasties, Ren Gong Fishing Platform was one of the top ten fishing platforms in China and later listed as one of the ten scenic spots in Yixing. Renfang Park, meticulously renovated on the site of the former Ren Gong Fishing Platform, opened to the public in 1998. The park covers 120 mu (approximately 16 acres) and features architectural elements inspired by the Tang Dynasty style. Ren Gong Pavilion is the main attraction, with other smaller attractions such as the Ren Gong Fishing Platform and Jinbo Pavilion. With a green coverage rate of 70%, it is currently the largest comprehensive park in Yixing.
