Phra Phuttha Trairatnayok (Luang Pho To or Sampokong), the Buddha image of Ayutthaya that has been revered by both Thais and Chinese people for a long time, is a large Buddha image and the largest in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. It is 20 meters wide and 19 meters high. It is a stucco Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude. It was damaged during the fall of Ayutthaya, but has been continuously restored.
When Ayutthaya became the capital, the King of Ayutthaya restored and restored it to its original condition. It is said that when Ayutthaya was about to fall, tears appeared to flow from both eyes, which was a miraculous sight.
During the Rattanakosin period, King Mongkut restored the entire Buddha image and named it "Phra Phuttha Trairatnayok".
