✍🏻Wat Chaiwatthanaram is a temple built during the reign of King Prasat Thong in 2173. Originally, the area where this temple is located was the residence of his mother
who passed away before King Prasat Thong ascended the throne. When he ascended the throne, he built Wat Chaiwatthanaram to dedicate the merit to his mother. Another reason is that this temple may have been built as a memorial to the victory over the Khmer, so some of its architectural styles are based on Angkor Wat. 🙏🙏🙏
