Taking the train to Ayutthaya for the first time

This trip brought back childhood memories! If I recall correctly, the last time I visited Ayutthaya was during elementary school for a field trip with my classmates 😊. This time, I traveled by train, which was very budget-friendly at just 20 baht per trip. I got off at Ayutthaya Station, and right outside, there were shops offering bicycle rentals. Alternatively, you could hire a tuk-tuk for the whole day, which is perfect for groups to split the cost. I opted for the tuk-tuk rental at 800 baht for a full day, allowing me to visit all the agreed-upon spots with the driver. It was totally worth it and left a great impression, even though the weather was quite hot. But I powered through! 😂 If you're planning to visit, make sure to bring an umbrella and some cooling gear to beat the heat.
